Replacement

Last year, we changed the living room floor to wood and damaged the wooden fixture, famously known as “Tinikling,” in the process – a typical filipino home would have this wooden dancers somewhere in their house. This is the best photo I could find online.
So, now I have to find a replacement that complements the painting I bought from Ikea.

Le Tre eta Della Donna “Mother and Child” by Gustav Klimt

I couldn’t find one that I like and the ones I sort of like were a bit pricey. I did not want to spend a lot of money on a reproduction; consequently, I decided to paint one. I’m not sure if it goes with the other painting but it’ll remain on the wall until I find a better replacement. I am never satisfied with my work, so it might change in few months or years...

Tis' strange, need to take a tour of the main floor to see where this was hanging at. Nice job sire!

Tis' odd, I feel as though I saw this painting earlier. Be right back...

Okay, I'm back. In the TV room. Also just ate that chicken. In the words of Andrew Zimmerman, "It's gamey".

I love IKEA prints, nicely framed and the right price, too. I have 4 large prints that I couldn't have afforded elsewhere. Have you looked on eBay for Tiniklings?

I really like the painting of the redhead! Did you paint it?

Thanks Raisa!
Yes I painted the red head.
I might replace the painting though.
I don't think it looks good on the wall anymore.
