"Hello, did you say you wanted to play later?"
What happened to 2011? No day seems to leave any impression, as if time is constantly fleeting. I don't have any new New Year's resolution(s), I'm still working on the ones from last year (haha) but I do want to write a story. I used to write short stories and poems when I was younger but it never transitioned into a hobby. I wish I were as deeply engrossed in writing as much as I am in drawing; I still however enjoy writing especially when I want to be productive. One thing that I can't stand is not doing anything. I like using my time wisely especially when I spend long hours at work which leaves me mentally stagnant. The only creative thing I did yesterday was design a Chinese New Year header. So, after I got off work, I did a quick sketch of a dragon to supplement my otherwise trivial day.
I personally prefer the sketch – I just love the organic lines and all its imperfections, which makes it more charming. I hope you enjoyed my dragon. Happy New Year to you all and enjoy all your misadventures!"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's learning to dance in the rain."
